Don't think you will get in a rank higher than you were when you leave the RAF. What tends to happen is you go down a rank, especially if you are a senior. Ranks like chief tech are not recognised in...

Forgot the other bit. By their own words, the married quarters are not any where near the standard of ours. No heating, no carpets, no curtains, not cheap. They actually give you an allowance...

When was hubby at on hercs? I was on them for 16 years from the early 90's onward. Don't worry to much about interview dates if and when you get that far. They do them over about a month period and...

Well, getting the job with RNZAF was the easy part!! but Boy, do they make the immigration bit hard, i guess it keeps unwanted people out of NZ. We are very near to sending all the paperwork...

Sorry, penny just dropped. Yes, if you want to go to NZ on a temp work visa you or your wife would need to aquire a job that pays min' $55,000. I don't know how hard that is to obtain.

Yes OOS is Auckland, if they don't recognise my Quals' ( they should as they are on their list ! ) then RNZAF have said they may be able to offer me a posting outside Auckland which will give me 105...
