I beg to differ KiwiPaul - the CGT rules don't apply! Read the legislation - growth in fund earnings is taxed under s305-75 of the ITAA 1997 - not the capital gains sections. Maybe one of the experts...

Do it yourself - it isn't difficult to complete the transfer forms, just time consuming - make sure you read everything very carefully, understand what you are doing and make sure the fund you use...

You have to have been outside of the UK for more than 5 full UK tax years, not just 5 straight years. Be very careful otherwise it could cost you a lot of money. Make sure you take proper advice even...

I transferred my RBS pension to Australia a couple of years ago - they couldn't have been less helpful! You will have no end of trouble getting a growth valuation from them.
