Thanks for that, those are the sorts of things we are looking for. I realise that in Canada, like most of North America, there are always going to be ton of chain stores, etc. but what we are missing...

I guess quaintness isn't really the word I meant, though I couldn't think of any better one at the time. What I mean is we are looking for a city with a bit of character, which seems to be lacking...

As long as you've listed them as dependents on your application you shouldn;t have a problem gettiing them in, though Dr. Squidgy will have to write another exam over here if he wants to practice...

We've been here since the middle of June. I'm originally from Saskatchewan but am new here, other half is from Derbyshire and I guess you could say that our daughter is from London. Seems pretty good...
