You could try pleading your case at a Boutique SNCF. Some times you get someone nice, and helpful. But like every service related issue in this country, it's hit or miss. Bon courage !:fingerscrossed:

The hospital only keeps birth records for 5 years. However it's possible that SA government keeps birth records for longer.

I'm not sure how it works in SA. Is Home Affairs the only government...
