I can't offer up any advice since I'm in the same boat. I'll be returning after 20 years in the US but it'll be me and the kids (impending divorce). I'm actually looking forward to being "home" again...

Thank you for the welcome! Yes I was back last year. Pre-911 I used to go every February. It's going to be rough starting over again but better to do it now than when I'm "really" old :D
