If me and the other half apply for permanent residence now through the skilled migrant category (for him, I'd just be going with him :D) and by some miraculous series of events we were accepted soon...

Lol my other half is a big baby when it comes to spiders. Do you see them very often in NZ and are they huge? even if the answer is yes to both questions, what he doesn't know wont hurt him :eek:

Well the bizarre thing is that because doctors are in short supply etc they are offering to all the visa stuff for us for nothing as long as he stays in the job they get him for at least 12 months....
