I sent them an email yesterday and got the same response. What they mean is that the 500 off-list visa's they have has been incorporated into their state sponsored visa's. So basically...

Having a relative in Vic may help you get sponsorship from them but only if your occupation is on their list, and if you're not even MODL I doubt you would be. If your relative does not live in Vic...

Iam intending to apply for state sponsorship from VIC. Does having a relative who is a citizen help you in gaining this state sponsorship if the occupation is neither on CSL or MODL?

Iam too facing the same problem, if my employer comes to know they would feel that iam not commited. I do have the appointment letters, the salary slips, my appraisal documents etc,...
