My point is I have not left Oz passed almost 5yrs ago done federal police check here so why do I require a UK police cert when one was produced to passs the the assesment 5yrs ago for original visa...

Open an account with Suncorp date of arrival passport and postal address in oz was all that was required.Then again if your going to deposit a large amount of cash they are'nt going to turn you away....

I managed to secure a sponsor on a 457 from the UK although it is in a different trade.I do think he will find it extremly difficult to find a sponsor as a brickie as there is little enough for those...

My employer contacted Imigration and they even could not give him a straight answer,by the sounds of things the immigration officer was unsure,so best option was just to can the idea.:thumbdown:
