I see. That wouldn't be classed as a visa refusal though would it? We had thought of that if they won't extend our time but we are worried that it would complicate things even further.

Thought as much! How do they get these jobs? When our son first went to the US on H1b visa I had to ring the embassy in London (you could then!) After pressing loads of buttons, press 1 for this 2...

Whichever way you do it please keep us posted. I know that you will need a certificate from the vet anyway to say the dogs are fit to travel as we have to get one along with flea and tick treatment...

We have a uk company 'trustedhousesitters'. Some sitters are police checked and some don't charge for house/pet sitting while you are away either -they seem to have sitters registered world wide....

Usachick 1989, just did the email as when I checked the ceac website it had our cases marked 'ready'. So I will let you know how it goes. They say they will reply within 5 working days.
