Hobbitess where are you thiking in NS? We had originally thought about BC but looking at NS seems to suit us more - closer to beaches and the snow in winter, only 5 hours from UK - same time on plane...

LB he was thinking of training to be an electrican - he was only just starting out, but he enrolled on plumbing instead - when he left for work yesterday he wanted to be an electrician, but came home...

I did see a job advertised in the uk2ns website for early childhood educators, i don't know if i should apply - we were thinking of Alberta or BC, never been to NS so don't know if it is worth...

I wasn't thinking of studying in the states - can't afford to do that. If i do decide to do further study it will be here in the UK.

Thanks again. I did Geography for my Bsc with a big part of it environmental geology and sustainable development/ conservation stuff like that...I never pursed this as i thought i had always wanted...

Glad you had a good time - i was in Forest of Dean hiking saturday, but odd days out like that don't make up for the rest of the time when its crap - my town is so depressing, i hate the chav culture...

I don't have a visa and am still in the uk - the other thread was me thinking or trying to think around the situation - is re-training an option or look...

Thanks to all who have replied. I wasn't meaning to piss anyone off when I wrote that I was thinking of re-training. I don't think Nursing is an easy job, what i thought was it seemed to be in demand...
