Re: Whats the Canadian Economy like at the moment?

Is there a reason why Canadian employment websites tend to refrain from posting a salary next to a job advertised...? I'm so used to seeing salaries on UK job sites and just wondered why you don't...

Re: REVISITING THE IDEA OF EMIGRATING...

Hi there, I live in Desborough (about 30 mins from Northampton). Were you in N'ton itself? :)

Re: REVISITING THE IDEA OF EMIGRATING...

Yes but it all boils down to the same thing - paying it off in one lump sum or paying it off in little bits (as tax). By the time my kids are at the leaving-university-age they will need to be saving...

Re: REVISITING THE IDEA OF EMIGRATING...

I've never read the Daily Mail for that reason! (I've heard how negative it is, so I steer clear of it)

Re: POSSIBLY CONSIDERING OZ... ?

I'm not sure, but I know they disapprove of backbiting and bullying (which is why a lot of the replies to my thread were deleted).

I apologise if I'm breaking rules by duplicating my post, but as...

Re: POSSIBLY CONSIDERING OZ... ?

Re: POSSIBLY CONSIDERING OZ... ?

I should have clarified that I was just answering the questions someone posed about what we actually want in life; I know not all our boxes will be ticked by Australia (or Canada, or the US...), I...

Re: POSSIBLY CONSIDERING OZ... ?

Your post was very insightful and opened my eyes to a lot of things about Australia of which I wasn't aware... if we do think seriously about moving there it'll have to be after lots of research into...

Re: POSSIBLY CONSIDERING OZ... ?

Not sure about non-EU countries but anyone in the EU can indeed just walk in, no questions asked. I have no idea why they'd want to (apart from the obvious £ incentives) - in the Independent today it...

Re: POSSIBLY CONSIDERING OZ... ?

You misunderstand me (don't worry, you're not the first :D): I don't hate immigrants and have nothing against them coming here to work if they buy / rent their own house, spend their wages in this...

Re: REVISITING THE IDEA OF EMIGRATING...

Hehe I knew there was a proper word for it! :p I p (I have learnt about fuzzing and DDOS requests from the podcasts he listens to in the car though, so my ignorance does stop somewhere!).

Re: REVISITING THE IDEA OF EMIGRATING...

Yeah I don't think we'd want to move to NYC tbh (would be nice to visit but not to live - too expensive by all accounts!). I think (if it happened) he'd have to travel around the country so we could...

Re: REVISITING THE IDEA OF EMIGRATING...

Hi there,

Wow you're the first pen tester I've found on this website - are you alone here?! May I ask how you managed to emigrate to Calgary in this role, or were you already over there doing...

Re: REVISITING THE IDEA OF EMIGRATING...

Gosh I didn't know that. So even if we just got a secondment somewhere, we'd still have the same problem...

Would it be really dodgy to sublet our house to my mother-in-law (say if we went abroad...

Re: POSSIBLY CONSIDERING OZ... ?

TBH I don't know what I want (nor my husband). We're both very indecisive and maybe we want / need someone to peer into our lives and tell us what to do for the best. We're both happy in our new...
