So here's an interesting question: If you're on an L1 and then apply for a Green card, are you still 'sponsored' by your employer.

Or in other words, once you have the Green Card can you leave...

Yes, I believe that that Affidavit of support I-134 is used where your spouse is 'processed' on the same GC application. Of course she need a complete 485 package of her own, but my I-134 supports...

If you filed a Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, on July 30, 2007, or after, then no fee is required...

Cool, so in that case the I-485 should just be:

I-485 itself
I-134 for the wife
copy, Birth/Marriage certs
copy, I-94
Photos
Employers Letter
I-693 medical

Ahh that makes sense. So my L1 keeps me in work with my current employer, and as I've got 2 years to run on that I don't need an EAD while the GC is being processed?

I presume once I've got the GC...

Yes, they're very easy to deal with.

Call Global Transfers in the US direct on 1-800-453-2639.

I had been a customer in the UK since 2001, so they took that into account and infact transferred...
