There is a logic to this but the French spuds seem too soggy to us.

We have no problem with our yorkshire puddings. I think my wife follows a very similar process to yours.

i do like the duck fat as well, I would always save the fat if i cooked a duck for this reason.

I still think you need to get the right variety of potato though, and duck fat is a once in while...

The UK can be a wonderful place to bring up children. If you live in 78 which your name suggests then the equivalent would be west of london. Kingston/Twickenham/out to Surrey.

i've just moved the wood back outside and noticed that a great deal of it is very soft wood like fir tree type wood and a lot is very damp and some is just like drift wood, just absolutely rotten...
