I'm just trying to find more info on this - I've just told my family that we wont' be moving back for the forseeable future and my mum is now going crazy trying to find info that says we can.

Nah - we're in negative equity at the moment and we also got the $8k tax credit for being first time buyers so our hands are pretty tied >_<

Thanks so much!! I have over 10k GBP in savings here in the UK which should help and although I have a BA, my husband doesn't so that might not be a great inclusion :/ He has great references...

Ugh - thanks for the heads up - our #1 priority is getting Zen his UK passport then #2 is getting Jeremy his immigration stuff sorted so will defo bear that in mind as our income is... nonexistent!! ...
