Never tried skiing! But would be cool to go build a snowman In fact I always wanted to make an igloo but my hads get too cold too quickly... :/

Just joined pretty much the same boat. 5 days and counting. Even having spent months here in the past - it feels pretty daunting for now.

So did you ever find any socialising or meet-ups?

Close to 'The Grove' on Fairfax, just about in Hollywood. Never quite seen anything like that Farmers Market there LOL.
