I'm flying in with Zoom to Calgary then taking Westjet into Saskatoon. The only one that goes internetional to Saskatchewan is air Canada (I think) but you always need to make a change in Canada...

Not my understanding. I intend to renew mine when I'm out there unless my PR comes through on time. I've not seen anything that says I can't do that. You need to remember to do it in good time...

Taking money over, banks or currency dealer?

Hi

Most people will be taking/have taken money over to Canada from the UK. Is it better to transfer via the banks or to use a currency dealer?

If it's for the UK then you only need to send a photocopy. If you have a fax machine then you can phone the embassy in London and they will fax out a set of instructions which tell you this. There...

I'd say you also need to look at provincial differences. Canada is a big place and $50k in one province might be ok.

Remember, that's for both adults working. If you look down the list you'll see that its only $52,700 in 2005 if only one adult works.
