Very valid point. Coming by boat to Australia is very profitable. There is a risk in every activity in life. This risk is worth for a boat person. ( Purely my personal view)

Passport always used to travel to other countries. Driving license to drive in the same country generally. Of course they can ask to surrender the DL. Its very hard to believe how Australia can...

This is very interesting thing. I know lot of students driving on their driving license from their country of birth. No demrits normally.

Its hard to believe that Australia can revoke license...

There is no problem of getting a mortgage on 175. You have to prove your income and 10%(Minimum) Savings. If u have a good banking history lending bank may consider that.

Any idea of nice hot water beaches in Sydney. I came from a tropical country where beaches are very nice and warm. I was unable to find any warm beaches here.

If you don't have a standard degree in IT you have to use RPL path.Here you only have microsoft and Java certifications only.:)
