Hi. If you are under MM2H program, all you money brought to Malaysia will be tax free. This is one of the benefits you will be enoying under this program.

Penang is an Island in Malaysia that is famous for expatriates. It is not as congested as in KL and has most of the amenities.

Most of the British retiring in Penang does not look back to their days in UK for the reason of weather, cost of living and so on...

Also in Penang, they will kind of enjoying the luxury live....

you will still be able to buy a property in Penang if you are not a MM2H participant. You will need to apply for Foriegn Investment council approval for the purchase and not get to enjoy the benefits...

If you are looking for that type of property, then you should not be facing any goverment restriction for the purchase... when you are buying the property, you will have to ask your solicitor to help...
