We used HIFX for our transfer. They arranged for west pac to open an account for us too.
We transfered our UK money from Lloyds to HIFX and they transfered it to OZ dollars and forwarded it on...

The roads flow freely and are wide, often multi laned. You can go for miles in 30 minutes where as you go 1 mile in 30 minutes in the uk.

Here in Adelaide i think its fine albeit similar to the UK.
The main benifit i think is that they are laid back and children can be children and not constantly pressurised as in UK to meet...

Most of them are ok.
The press only reports the bad stuff, never the good charity work and fund raising that a lot of them do and that includes H.A. too.

Would agree with passionate pom the roads are just not good for riding on and drivers here are blind. It is legal to undertake here. Work out for your self the problems that causes.
