This is one I can sort of answer ......there is an organisation called cricket france .....we contacted them to find the nearest cricket club to montpellier

Thanks Adrienne and chucks mum......all info helps ......we like the village of Toulouge just outside of Perpignan it is quite expensive but very convenient for schools etc and it is on the bus route...

OK that seems reasonable to me ....... I haven't been able to research the cost of utilities in France so all the little bits of advice go into the file to help me with my budget when we move.

Just to add (having read the thread on gun licenses)I too am surprised by the lack of birdlife ....but the village we are hoping to live in has the most beautiful park with a lake full of ducks...

Well I found out today what they mean when they say Perpignan can be windy.
It is blowing a gale and it is icy, by the time I had walked into the city centre from our hotel my hands...

Simmy as I am an ex melbourne girl...we barrack for the tigers.....I too will miss seeing the grand final this weekend .......I hope Geelong win as being and Adelaide resident I just can't barrack...

Hi Simmy ........we are moving from Adelaide Australia to most likely Perpignan early in 2008 with children aged 9 13 and 15 ......I am in Perpignan at the moment checking things out ......I can tell...
