Michel Thomas is absolutely brilliant and he makes you realize that actually you probably know far more French words than you think you do, he seems to give you some confidence to at least try them...

We live in Charente Maritime, weather has been lovely and is already 32.3oC in the sun @ 10:18am, we have a microclimate here.

UPDATE

Do not trust what your vet says, go straight to the people that know about this, DEFRA.
We bought a puppy on the strength of what the vet said, and have ended up in UK for far longer...
