Good news. I just checked online and they mailed the card yesterday. What a relief! It should reach the US mission today and hopefully they'll pass it on quickly.

We don't submit directly ourselves. I work for an international organization and they submit to the US mission to the organization who review it and then submit to USCIS. They're the ones who...

Trenton NJ was a joy.

I went to the hospital there to have my second baby who decided to arrive at 2am on a Sunday morning. That was scary! At least it took my mind off the labour pains though :)

The reason I asked abotu where you'll be living is that you have to PROVE that you'll have somewhere to live. What they're scared about is that you'll land and declare yourself homeless or something...

Well, firstly the test isn't difficult. My husband knew the handbook on which the test is based inside out and had taken practice tests and aced them all - so it was pretty sure he was going to pass....

Why do you have to pay your own health care for the first year? I've never heard of that. I thought that if you are normally resident in the UK, you're entitled to the NHS. We're moving back next...
