DG - Dangerous Goods Cartage.

Very easy 1 day course, most Employers will pay for you to sit this, lasts 5 yrs.

Got some funny rules here on Dangerous Goods, but straight forwrd once you get...

Yep, That would be my advise to come over as a tourist then look for work, takes 4 to 6wks to process a Work Permit Application.

You do not have to leave the country, however you can not start...

Linfox is not the only company to recruit overseas drivers.

Most Haulage companies here in NZ are looking for Good Experienced Drivers.

Depends realy where you want to live and what you want to...

I can tell you that I do not know of anyone paying $26.50 p/h for a driver.

If you find one, let me know and I will go back on the road.

$18.50 is a pretty good wage for a wage for a fresh off the boat Truck Driver.

Really depends where you will be living.

We couldn't survive without the wife working too.

Guys you are gona struggle with the Residency Visas.

One of the Criteria to apply for a WTR Visa is that you must earn over 50k, but be warned that is based on a 40hr wk. There aint any Driving...

Karon is quite right about accredition, however the figure is now 54k for a 40hr week. There must be some way round it as there are now 4 or 5 Trucking Companies on the Accredition list.

Not me, Mate. Too big a Company for me, they are one of, if not the biggest Transport company in NZ.

Like all big outfits they have a regular turn...
