Well under 'the circumdstances' it is an option.

There is nothing stopping the OP from coming to the UK (based on the information they've provided) so it is still an option (as far as we know)

Yep, can't wait for NYE, got a big night planned out in Vancouver! Luckily my PPR arrived just in time as I'm picking my visa up in London this Thursday and then flying out the following Thursday.
