Yeah, Sylvan Lake is gorgeous. Spoke to some locals though, they all seem to hate summer time - the town becomes a party capital of Alberta, drunken youngsters everywhere, noise, etc........

Thanks so much for all the info. I think I feel better about it now. We haven't made the final decision yet, but I think I will probably be ok with moving to RD.

I think they have doubled their time now, it used to be 3-4 weeks last October-November. We were told 6-8 weeks at least as they are so busy at the moment. We applied on the 4th of May
