I only read the first page but here goes.

I'm a Brit who now lives in the US. I live in San Jose south of San Fran. Google and most of the "silicon valley" jobs are actually south of San Fran.

My wife went to the UK for a month and returned no problem (I stayed only 2 weeks as you did). I can't see any problem providing you don't give any indication that you're not coming back :D

She does see a LCSW but she doesn't believe in it so it seems like a waste of time. I also talk to that same person a little but it has all come...

When we reach that point I will consult a lawyer but part of the problem is finding one who understands the international aspects of it.

I believe those factor will be part of a custody decision...

She is on meds (has been for years though I never really understood why until last year) and is seeing someone. She was actually committed to the psych ward for a few days a couple of weeks ago. ...

Hey thanks guys, it certainly is a stick situation.

What I meant is that the children want to stay in the US because it's their home. They are not choosing Dad rather than Mom, they are choosing...
