It really depends on the office where you area pplying. I am currently applying for RSMS visa and the nomination from the employer is taking ages. My employer lodged the nomination in late April...

I think it was delayed because the original case officer has transferred to another department and there is a new case officer for the nomination.

You can actually send your 47ES even if your nomination is not yet approved; however, you have to make sure that your employer has already lodged the nomination otherwise they will reject your visa...
