Holiday visas

If you're in Oz on a working holiday visa can you swap to holiday visa once it expires if you want to stay on a bit longer and travel around or do you have to apply for this offshore?

Given that remaining relative is not an option for us now, what would be better child visa 802 or student visa....I understand child visa 802 is for children under 25 who have to become a student so...

As I said, her biological father is still alive and presumably still living in UK somewhere but they have no contact whatsoever and it seems ludicrous that because of this she would be unable to join...
