If you know the area well and like to live there ,cant see why not. make sure you employ a good solicitor to check it out. there are horror stories being told about buying land to build.

I am a UK resident selling a property in Spain.I spent Euros 20,000 fitting out the property .can I claim this expenditure (supported by receipts) against the profit when calculating Capital Gains...
