Buying plot of land.

hi there i have just bought some land and have paid the deposit and in 6 weeks time they want more i bought through a real estate agent its going to take 2 yrs to build am i doing the right thing or can you advise me pls

If you know the area well and like to live there ,cant see why not. make sure you employ a good solicitor to check it out. there are horror stories being told about buying land to build.

yea i can sell it before it is built its just earth at the moment and it has a bank garantee on the land just not to sure if im doing the right thing before i hand over the other 20,000 i have paid a deposit of 6,000 euros to take it of the market and there are othes there being built around the area its way up in the mountains i have gone thr a real estate agent they have a lot of bases all over spain called dream homes i have trust in them but not sure

the real estate has its own idependent solicitor based in there shop english speaking i spoke to her yesterday and was very nice and has give me her card to call at anytime the real estate are called andalucain dream homes have you heard of them

Why don´t you give us the name of the firm of solicitors. You never know, someone might have used them already and can give you some feedback.

Dont panic but I made the big mistake of using the estate agents solicitor in a previous house purchase and went through hell. Check on all my previous posts if interested. I strongly recommend you to get your own independent solicitor asap.
