I tried the local HSBC and L/TSB, they only offer Dirhams accounts. Ah the joys of expatriatecy (that's a new word)

Yes, it is a childs account but it has to be opened in the name of a parent. it is the parent that has to show proof. However I think the idea of using Grandads house is not a bad one. Thanks for the...
