Just to add my bit in......

i have been told today that this new TRA rule is just a draft and has not actually been passed to come into place yet and that TRA have tried to place this rule before...

They havent said alot at the school about the hours, actually i had to approach them about what was going to happen think they may have been hoping nobody knew!

I'm studying there now havent heard any rumors YET!

i am currently on a student visa and i have to pay $8,000 a year to the education department, we are in queensland but i'm sure it varies in different states.

Hi, mine took less than a week to come back and i did it by post as the online system wasnt working, but i did mine middle of last year. Like pumpkin says trying to get your ecoe takes the longest!

I am doing hairdressing and i starts in Sept.
As said in other threads it is 124 days before you can apply but you can have your medicals done before you apply...

Hi,
if you mean on a student visa, then as a dependant you can only work 20 hours a week. Also you cant apply to work until the person who has the student visa starts their course.

Hi Sean,
i have just got my visa back and i can enter the country 90 days before the course starts.
I didnt use an agent although there is a company called studyoptions.com and they dont charge you...

I use telediscount on my landline and they charge 1p per minute which is great. You dial their number than the number you need to ring. Here is there link below for the number.

When you pay your instalment fee it is by bank transfer and it is taken out of your account straight away and the college will send you your Ecoe once they...

you may have to email australia house in London with this question.

I have my visa and started my health insurance 2 weeks before my course starts but i havent booked flights yet...
