When we were at the 2003 Rugby World Cup Final (yes ok, I was there, you can all hate me now :)) all the French/Scots/Welsh/Irish were supporting Australia, but the Kiwi's and Abbo's were supporting...

My understanding is that thyroxine is slow acting (3 weeks fram a change before checking it has worked) so any medical situation is likely to have been sorted, or family contacted before adverse...

Yep - spouse visa (de-facto), and yes they did say that even if I re-applied after he is 18 I might not get it. If we had left it until he was 18 for the first application they wouldnt have known...

Our Jack Russell is only 3 (and a big bit) but he was fine, we used AirPets and they couldn't have been more helpfull.

He is a fairweather dog anyway and loves it here.

With hindsight (that exact science) we should have done, but we didn't know it would be a problem, so Sir and the dog are here, and I can't be, so off home I go. Not living together for 2 years...

Thanks for the understanding - I've had a lot of luck in my life, all of it bad roflol

The only way is up, go home, get myself together and start again, I've done it before so I can do it again....

You could try branching out into sci-fi, Anne McCaffery is good, as is Elizabeth Moon. I am also a fan of Robert Heinlein, he has some interesting ideas about the shape of ideal societies...

It's an easy way out for them, the classes are too big and they don't have any punishments anymore (except go stand outside the heads office - doh) so if they can get the more demanding children...
