Re: My Partner has left me, if I go back to the uk would i be entitled to any benefit

Re: My Partner has left me, if I go back to the uk would i be entitled to any benefit

Neither I nor my DH, (USC) had a job last year, (living off of savings) so, therefore, neither of us were paying taxes.

Had absolutely bugger all to do with the ability to claim child benefit, nor...

Re: Marrying in US on visa-waiver, then return to UK. Help!

uk-yankee.com is the site.

For visa information check britainusa.com. If you have all the documents required then it should be a painless process.

Re: never had a UK driving licence

I can do it, (though there are restrictions, change of name, I think, is one of them) as a UKC. My husband, on the other hand, as a USC, had to get to a DVLA office in order to have them sign his...

Re: never had a UK driving licence

No, that's not what I'm saying.

If you possess a Canadian licence you can exchange it for a UK licence - no test required.

If you possess a US licence you have to take a test but prior to that...

Automatics are becoming quite common over...

Re: never had a UK driving licence

You won't get a test without one. Also, photos are required for provisional licences now and the form must be signed, same as for passports, by someone in a professional capacity who has known you...
