That's exactly how it was in France- the doctors, naval offficers etc.. I taught knew their technical language but didn't know how to keep a conversation going!

As above, I have a CELTA and would definitely recommend doing the 4 week intensive course-it is intensive but you get good practise and get excellent support along the way- with a distance course...

TEFL would seem to be the only requirement if you were planning to do it on your own as a business (well, that is the case in France ) I think if you wanted to teach in a formal school set up, they...

Myself, my (french) husband , along with our 6 y.o son are planning to make the move to Spain.After living in Japan for 6+ years and in france for 10+ prior to that,we moved back to England 4 years...
