Thanks but couldnt find the quote there. It says you have 12 month after the settlement to apply for it, is that what you mean?

I know this but once I get my PR will they check when I got it? I know it is possible to apply for FHB after the settlement but my problem is, as you said, the Visa

I am still waiting for my visa but no action since nomination was approved two months ago. It is getting quite late since I was supposed to commence my work on April 1st.

I think it worth shipping to Oz since it will not cost more than 1500 AD from Japan. I am now waiting for approval letter.
