I "landed" exactly a week ago (i.e. turnaround @ nearest US border crossing). I was holding a work permit, but was still asked for proof of funds. Take, just in case.

The Lees - hello - I am a Buffalo applicant. Rest assured most people getting PRs in about 1 1/2 years through Buffalo. I think you are crazy to regret applying there!!! London processing times 4-5...

Thanks Jim, but you can't do that for medical exam or the RCMP check. I did medical early Feb and it still doesn't say "medicals received" on e-cas (I know I passed the exam itself).

Thanks, Kat. No LMO, just regular skilled worker through Buffalo, which is 1.5 years usually. Most Buffalo people with similar AOR have their PRs now, so am trying not to worry too much :(
