Not there yet but I will be arriving about 6pm on a Friday evening and I'm assured, by my mates who already live in Sydney, that my first weekend is going to give me a sore head and sunburn!

Do you know if you can offset expenses from the taxable amount? after paying mortgage, ground rent and management fees I end up losing money so even if it was classed as a taxable investment...

Well I got them certified anyway, thought it best to be safe and it only cost me a fiver. Thanks for the responses.

Yes, I believe they are mandatory for all. The only problem to consider is that you have to enter Australia within one year of the earliest date that either the medicals or police checks are done....

Got a CO - August applicant

Shock! Got an email from a CO today requesting Meds and PCC's, my application for a 136 MODL was received on August 9th. They must be quite a bit further ahead than they are admitting!
