I am Permanent Resident and would like to sponsor my mother in law (actually my wife will be a sponsor).
The CIC website says that we ( as a sponsor) need to meet certain income...

You will be able to open a bank account at any bank in Canada if you have Canadian immigration confirmation document in your hands only. This document usualy provided by Canadian Embassy.

I have look in the Internet and did not find many offers of landline/home phone in New Brunswick. Only Rogers and Aliant. May be I am looking in wrong place. Who know a good telephone service in NB...

Whole Go Through Border process (including custom) took 45 minutes. Very friendly people.:thumbsup:
