Genuinely, thanks for all of that Bermudashorts. It was just an idea to while away a year while we are both still young-ish. Itd have been nice to return for a year and just enjoy 12 months out...

Oh, Angie. Bet you got it because you were there for 3 yrs before.
We only stayed about 17months then came back to the Uk. But the 5yr PR visa expired last year.
Not sure how to go about trying for...

Not any more unfortunately. We lived and worked there but no family ties.

Just checked - cheapest I've seen them going for online is 995!!!!! That's for a seat in any of the first 12 rows, at the final.

We got ours for 90 each!! RESULT.
Sigh - it's good to be back. ;)...

Only reason we got the tickets is coz we put in for the public ballot last October.
So we've ended up with ticks for Centre Court,Women's Final!!
Still had to pay, mind but only a fraction of the...

I found that when we were there we just deliberately didn't say much when they asked us why we were moving back.It could've got quite heated if we'd ever told the real truth...

We went with a Liverpool company called Letton Percieval ( check spelling! )
They were the most reasonable out the lot and easy to deal with - all of it done by email and post.

Yup, we got roped into taking out a huge private health insurance thing when we were there. It was a huge chunk of money out of our wages - and all for what?? I thought it was a major waste of money....

Not sure, but I got stung for duty big time when we took wine and liquers over to oz from the Uk. We didn't take anything back when we came back to the Uk. Not falling for that one again!
