We stayed there back in November 2004. Lots of mosquitos at the back yard! But the house was nice and the owner very helpful. Good exercise going up and down the hill to Oxford Street!

We are now renting a new Kawai for 33 euros p/month. More or less the same price. Good news! Thanks.

Anyone know how much to buy/rent an upright pianoforte (could be 2nd hand) in Perth? I tried to google but found only one place...

"Surrender of Overseas Licence
When you are issued with a Victorian driver licence you must surrender your overseas licence (unless it is also an identity card) or have it invalidated...

That means if you have one of those you have to swap your driving lincense or you just show it and get an australian one? :confused:

I know for QLD you have to pass a theory test.

Sorry, but from my experience, they are not good (brisbane area). Too small, too crowded, not so nice and expensive :(
If you wait till preschool age, then lots of options :)
