We leave on the 3rd November - spending 3 days in Singapore & 2 weeks in Perth before getting to Brisbane.

Good to see there is a local over there - I work in St. Margarets.
Not for much longer - heading to Brisbane/sunshine coast in November with the Mrs & sprog which is due in 5 weeks. :scared:

Thanks for the advice, I think I need to work from the bottom up as I need to learn the Australian building code as I only know the British building regulations.

I think you can find work in most towns that have architects practises, but most of the jobs are in the major cities where the larger firms tend to be.

I'm an architectural technician / CAD draftsman.

I've been looking on various job websites & all the jobs seem to be in Brisbane. The wages look about 40% less than what I earn here.

Ours has been on for 2 weeks, not a sniff yet. Even though the estate agent said the market has gone mental. Maybe the wet weather has put people off.
