Hi. The earlier in your career you were injured and the more severe the injury, then the more adversely this effects you. So in effect it punishes those who can least afford it. :sneaky:

Canadian Forces = no tax on injury pension
UK Forces = no tax etc
RCMP = no tax etc
UK Police = tax on all including non taxible (in UK) injury pension = disaster if verified!

No way it should be taking 6 months!!!
We were getting them processed in as little as 2 weeks up until this month when the process slowed down slightly (4 - 6 weeks) due to the economic downturn...

I left the Fraud Squad in 1999, so def not the 2006 Act. The legislation we used then was adapted from Common Law and other Legislation to cover West African Fax and Letter fraud.
