I've heard that TRA have stopped using a deeming date when assessing skills for trades. Does this mean that if I have 4 years work experience, all can be counted as experience on my visa...

Seems like a long time to be deemed qualified after 6 years! You could train to be a doctor in that time. Does not using a deeming date mean that all of your work experience can be counted as...
