Just a quick question. How long can you be out of New Zealand for on a resident return visa?

U usually get a two year RRV when you get your first PR sticker, meaning you have to be back in NZ before the expiry date which is two years from when you were granted PR. But in order to qualify for a subsequent RRV you have to have been in NZ for at least half the time in each of the preceding two years. SO less then 6 months per 12 month period for 24 months to avoid hassles.
