We've also applied for a 457 - all documents submitted and meds done & received. So we're just waiting - no news so far, no requests for additional info fortunately or unfortunately...

Sorry to hear this. Maybe check with the doctor which address he sent them to - when I was booking my meds, they didn't seem sure whether they needed to be sent to Sydney or Adelaide. Hope u sort...

Still no news from DIMIA but employer's HR dept has said to email rest of docs to her and she will forward them to her contact in the DIMIA - phew!!!
Anyway, just thoguth I'd update in case anyone...

Thx - yes, I read the excellent comparison table posted on this forum on pros and cons of 457 vs PR. In our case, as there's a 6 mth job probation, employer's bringing us in on 457 first...
