We came over a year ago, and HSBC was the bank of choice for us as well, they arranged all the credit cards for us, and when we got here, we just went into a branch to sign documents and picked them...

You totally lost me by this post, our family of 4 has been in canada less than 2yrs, and renting in brantford, till the house in herts uk sells. You have a problem with this?

Very interesting article Liz. We have 2 kids that aren't even close to age 12 yet, but we do leave them with a babysitter that is 13, when we go out for a meal for a few hours. Ontario law does state...

I agree with you dbd33 about there not being any hockey games on TV, and I hope it stays that way too. Iginla seems to have single-handedly killed this thread with all these pics of a lousy hockey...

Just wanted to show another side to Hamilton, it gets so much negative stick, and people don't get to see the good sides to it. Even it's neighbouring town of stoney creek is beautiful

This they've had in the states for a while, and with this new, it could only mean better listening for us here in Canada. You have no idea how annoying it is, listening to the same songs being played...

I kind of like that licence plate, and all that it stands for, they should be proud of their province, as it's beautiful. Also quebec is one of those provinces that don't require you to display both...

For us, is the fact that we can work all week, and then look forward to the weekend, when we take trips around ontario, seeing roadside attractions and driving through scenic routes, and come back...
