Try the Post Office.

They do a one way insurance, but they give you the option of increasing your personal possession allowance from £250 per item to £1000 per item for an extra £10. Total sum...

Yeah, we just wrote to them and they were really helpful, although it seems that they are not being so flexible at the moment. Maybe we caught them on a good day.

Hi

We have booked with Cathay via Travel Bag to go Melbourne in Dec. Travel Bag said no, but we contacted Cathay directly and they have increased our allowance.

We just wrote to Cathay at Heathrow. They requested a copy of our visas and said that they would be in touch. We waited for 3 months and heard nothing so we just rang them up,...
