More sports- yes

Better food- no, fresher and better choice in the UK and fairly stable prices

More out door- no, we walked every day in the UK but not here .too hot....but lovely in the sea on...

stayed with sister for 8 weeks
found a house on acreage in Forestdale Queensland needing reno
when we first arrived at my sisters we said, out of earshot, what have we done...

After a long wait we exchanged contracts today. Our sale fell apart back in March and it's taken ages to get here. Due to validate end of October.....
So....exchanged today,complete next Tuesday and...

don't know......did not look that promising when we looked at properties but will not let a web site decide any thing for us.

We checked before we booked his flight. Emailed our CO and she said no problem as long as we all arrived by our validation date.....we put a copy of the email in with his passport to be sure they let...

After a long wait we finally got our visa granted this morning

We started our application at the end of 2004

We are 139 and did our bond for our AOS...

Found out two weeks ago our PCCs have gone 'walk about' and they are all DIMA need to finalise our visa.

yes we are still waiting
emailed our co two weeks ago and they are waiting to finalise our visa but cannot locate our pccs....they said its all they are waiting for.
They were sent back in...

We now know why we have been waiting so long, our pcc's have gone walkabout.
Everything else is in place except for these.
The Got It post is on the horizon....we hope .

I asked this question before and got no response
Do you pay tax on an ill health retirement pension in the UK or do you get exemption and pay tax on it in Oz.
