Default how long after CentreLink

Hi to any agents out there in agent land. Or indeed any one who knows. My brother in law received a letter back from CentreLink to say that the CentreLink wanted no more information and that the application can now carry on.

How long after this message from CentreLink do you get the visa? Does this message mean anything? Is it a good sign? lol

Can anyone advise, tell me or shout it out lol. Or even nudge my CO lol.

Cheers, getting impatient now.

Sorry Lace don't have a magic timeframe for you as I'm right there with you waiting. Just two extremes that I'm aware of is racketman 139 on austimeline waited 11 days and KarenS 138 has waited over 5 weeks and nothing yet. So I guess its that piece of string thing again.

Good question, though, we are also strategizing as to how or whether to give our CO a nudge. Hope an agent can respond to your qu.

Hope you get it soon!

Hi Lace, still no word yet? As you know it took me exactly 4 weeks from Centre Link to visa grant!
We now have our visa's back from London and you know it allready feels like ages ago! So dont worry this will be a dim and distant memory soon.

All the best

Oh god Happymum, I know you are there with me bless ya. I have wrote to the CO telling her everything has been done and is there anything else she wants but I never get a reply. So what can you do after that!

Just wrote it in desperation really.

Sitting and waiting, Yeah racketman I wrote him and congratulated them bless.

lets see what comes back Happymum

Hi Lace,
my agent nudged my CO at around 3 and a half weeks - she then said she was waiting for my file to "come across her desk" and would be in touch at the end of last week - well she wasnt!! my agent found that she is still waiting for the file. Happy Mum told me she heard it takes 2 weeks after they request your file till they actually get it!! maybe they dont request it till you hassle them?? well that seems to be the case for me. I am finding this bit impossible!! so you have my total sympathy. At least i know from here that i am not alone!!!
cheers,
Karen

So we've got:

AoS Complete
SteveParker 3/2
KarenS 6/2 (138)
happymum 13/2 (138)
OzHH 20/2 (138)
Lace 8/3 (139)

By the way, found out from racketman that in Melbourne, although there seems to be quite a wait for centrelink appointments, that approval can be obtained there and then in written form, so bond can be lodged immediately. In Perth though, my sister had to wait for a letter to be sent my mail (even though everything was in order) and only then lodge the bond.

Come on DIMA, just grant the above and get all these pesky applicants off your hands. Easy!
